MEREDITH FIELDER

200-HR RYT | YOD CERTIFIED

I began my yoga journey as a sophomore in college in 2022, searching for something that would support both my body and mind. I had always valued physical activity, but I realized I needed something deeper—something that would help me navigate the stress and uncertainty of college life. After my first class, I was completely hooked. I walked out of the studio feeling mentally lighter, physically stronger, and more present than I had in a long time. Yoga quickly became my safe space—the place where I could show up exactly as I was, put in the work, and leave everything on the mat.

As my practice deepened, I knew I wanted to take it even further. In January 2024, I completed my 200-hour teacher training, a life-changing experience that challenged me in ways I never expected. Stepping into the role of a teacher has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. It has pushed me out of my comfort zone, strengthened my connection to this incredible community, and deepened my love for both the physical and mental aspects of yoga. This practice continues to teach me resilience, patience, and self-compassion, and I am constantly growing as both a student and a teacher.

Now, as a senior in college, I understand firsthand how overwhelming life can be. My goal is to create a space where students can move, breathe, and let go—where they can challenge themselves while also finding balance and peace. My classes focus on strong, intentional movement, mindfulness, and breath, allowing students to step away from the chaos of daily life and reconnect with themselves. This practice gives me the space to process, to breathe, and to heal in ways I didn’t even know I needed. Yoga has given me so much more than I ever expected, and I hope to share that gift with others. I can't wait to see you on your mat!
